Trish focuses her practice on domestic and international franchise and distribution laws, as well as business transactions. Trish applies her significant general counsel experience when advising clients, providing practical legal solutions to her clients’ business goals. She helps clients navigate franchise regulatory compliance matters as well as franchisee relationship issues, and also negotiates commercial transactions and real estate leases.

Trish represents franchise start-ups, emerging brands, and large internationally known brands. She has worked with a variety of different distribution strategies through traditional franchising, exemptions, and licensing models. Trish is also experienced in franchise-related mergers and acquisitions.

Manal Hall is a shareholder in the Salt Lake City Office of Dentons. She represents franchisors, franchisees, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers in the areas of franchise and distribution law. Her clients range from startups to national and global companies. She assists and counsels clients on issues of disclosure and registration, domestic and international program structuring, relationship matters, supply chain maintenance, advertising, licensing, and acquisitions. She regularly advises clients on a wide variety of issues, including domestic market entry, expansion and exit strategies, franchise disclosure obligations and franchise compliance programs and policies. Ms. Hall also works regularly with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers in the preparation of various agreements, including distribution, licensing, and supplier agreements. Ms. Hall is also an Adjunct Professor at BYU Law School, teaching Franchise and Distribution Law.
